Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, a defensive back from Orlando, Fl with the given name HaSean Clinton-Dix will forgo his senior year with the Alabama Crimson Tide and enter the NFL Draft. Joining Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who has by far the best name in college football, from Bama in declaring early for the draft are Adrian Hubbard, a linebacker from Lawrenceville, Ga.; Cyrus Kouandjio, an offensive lineman from Hyattsville, Md. and Jeoffrey Pagan, a defensive lineman from Asheville, N.C.
All four juniors made the announcement together Thursday at a press conference in Tuscaloosa.
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is the biggest blue chip of the bunch, I’ve seen him in the top ten in a few mock drafts and everyone seems sold on him being a first round pick. And yes, I’ve done all the Ha Ha Clinton-Dix name jokes already. It’s why I’m not doing any Monica Lewinsky or LOL Weiner-Sext jokes now. Pagan is probably the weakest of the four Tide players in NFL Draft stock, but trust me he’ll be just fine too. He’ll get his paper no problem. Kouandjio and Hubbard project as late first rounders.
The 2014 NFL draft will take place at Radio Music City Hall in New York City May 8-10, 2014.
Auburn running back Tre Mason and left tackle Greg Robinson have also announced that they will leave school early and enter the draft.
