Jay Cutler is the greatest Chicago Bears passer ever. Seriously

By

Love him or hate him (9/10 will opt for "hate" on this one), Jay Cutler is the greatest passer in Chicago Bears history. The stats, numbers and records back this claim up 100%. We're not saying that Jay Cutler is the greatest Chicago Bears quarterback ever, just the best pure passer in the long storied history of the NFL charter franchise. To be considered the best QB, he … [Read more...] about Jay Cutler is the greatest Chicago Bears passer ever. Seriously

Robbie Gould: the latest cardiac kicker in Bears-Raiders series

By

By Jeremy Harris Robbie Gould’s dramatic 49-yard field goal against the Oakland Raiders with two seconds remaining on Sunday propelled the Bears to their first victory of the season 22-20. However, Gould was probably blissfully unaware that cardiac kicks are the rule, not the exception, when these teams meet.  Make or miss, victory or defeat, jubilation or despair, most … [Read more...] about Robbie Gould: the latest cardiac kicker in Bears-Raiders series

Chicago Bears deny they’re having a fire sale (sources)

By

These days, NFL teams almost always choose to leak information to their television broadcast partners; not their local media. The same can be said of MLB, NBA etc. Teams make sure the actual news goes to the media professionals who work for the broadcast rights holders that the leagues are in bed with, instead of the local beat professionals who are there covering the team each … [Read more...] about Chicago Bears deny they’re having a fire sale (sources)

Chicago Bears on the road to #1 overall draft pick

By

"Fail for Cardale." "Get Sacked and Worse for Hackenberg." "Lose-ah for Bosa." Whatever your slogan/mantra, it's the mantra the Chicago Bears should embrace. Let the NFL Draft tanking begin. Given how bad they have looked thus far, plus the sell off they've initiated on defense, it looks like the Monsters of the Midway will soon be on the clock. That's perfect as Chicago will … [Read more...] about Chicago Bears on the road to #1 overall draft pick

Even Jay Cutler haters will find this sick and disturbing (photo)

By

It seemed like Nelson Muntz had hijacked the Twitter account belonging to one of ESPN's most high-profile pointless gasbags who shall not be named yesterday. Of course, said pundit usually acts like a dickbag, so when he did his "well, as long as he's hurt" bit regarding Jay Cutler it actually wasn't all that much of a story. Watching the Cutler schadenfreude unfold on … [Read more...] about Even Jay Cutler haters will find this sick and disturbing (photo)

Is five wins the 2015 Chicago Bears ceiling?

By

One very highly circulated national publication, who we won't name because they obviously did this as a publicity stunt, rated the Chicago Bears dead last of all 32 NFL teams; well before the devastating Kevin White news. While the Bears aren't the worst team in the National Football League by any stretch, they are certainly down in the bottom runs with the Jacksonvilles, … [Read more...] about Is five wins the 2015 Chicago Bears ceiling?

How much will Vic Fangio improve the Chicago Bears?

By

Chicago Bears coverage needs a so-called "FOX attitude." We report, you decide...if the team will finish in last place again, and just how far out of first place they'll end up. What effect will the (John) Fox attitude have on the Chicago Bears? It depends on how much magic both he and Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio can work with a rapidly aging, non-cohesive defensive … [Read more...] about How much will Vic Fangio improve the Chicago Bears?

2015 NFL Preview: Big and Bold NFC Predictions

By

Chip Kelly might be one of the most compelling story lines in the NFC this season. Everyone articulates how wildly unpredictable he is, but hey, I accurately forecasted his pick in the NFL Draft this past April. That's because with Kelly and I there's a "great minds think alike" vibe going on; as evidenced by our Rose Bowl press conference moment in 2012.  … [Read more...] about 2015 NFL Preview: Big and Bold NFC Predictions
