Video: Syracuse legend Jim Boeheim discusses gun control

You know it’s inevitable- some meathead is going to criticize Syracuse legend Jim Boeheim for this, and give him the “STICK TO SPORTS” call of the malcontents.

During the postgame news conference last night, Boeheim’s final remarks were not about his milestone 900th career victory. But instead, he was thinking about the 20 children and six adults killed in a shooting massacre last week at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. It was a classy gesture with his family in attendance.

He did the right thing to articulate about something more than just college basketball.
