Female broadcasters are now setting their mark in the field of various sports.
Females have been into sports broadcasting since the days of Phyllis George and Jayne Kennedy, these two were the first to find their individual roles in sports broadcasting.
Let me introduce the top 5 female sportscasters on your favorite sports channels.

Rachel Nichols
She is an ESPN reporter and hosts two shows Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown. She is also a regular sportscaster for the NBA and a correspondent for E: 60. She is known for her thorough reporting. She gets more air time than LeBron James.
She has been working with ESPN for the past 8 years and enjoys a repute as a noteworthy journalist.

Lisa Salters
A renowned journalist and former women’s collegiate basketball player, she’s been a popular newscaster for ESPN and ESPN on ABC since the year 2000. Mostly she is popular as a sideline reporter and on “Outside the Lines” and “E: 60”. She covers NBA, college basketball, college football and ESPN’s Monday Night Football in place of Suzy Kolber.

Andrea Kremer
She is a notable television sports journalist, and presently she is the Chief of Player Health and Safety Issues for the NFL Network and at the same time featured on HBO’s “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel”. She was the first among the women to call a New York Knicks games on radio and television.
