It looks like Jurrien Timber could make maybe, potentially, make his season debut on Saturday. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said, ahead of the win over Napoli in midweek, Timber is in “really good condition at the moment,” having fully recovered from his groin injury.
Arteta said that he’s also been “a few weeks on the pitch, and he’s training with us now.”

So maybe he doesn’t play a whole lot at Sunderland on Saturday, but he should make the matchday squad. Elsewhere Cristhian Mosquera is a strong doubt this weekend, as he’s battling a thigh injury.
“He had a muscular issue, and we think it’s not too much,” Arteta said of Mosquera’s condition. “But we need to wait and see the next few days for how it evolves.”
The only other injury concern for Arsenal is William Saliba, who will be out until the middle of autumn sometime.
Otherwise the injury situation remains the same for the North-Londoners.
