Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho is “on fire,” but promises he “will behave on the touchline” this season. We’re just minutes away from the kickoff of the Premier League season and Mourinho is just as fired up as you are; probably more. The Portugese also said that he is ready to “go for it,” this season, in all competitions.

Mourinho has designs on achieving success in the league, UEFA Champions League and the domestic cups in 2017-18 and he’s not shy about expressing his excitement.

“I was thinking I needed three [summer] transfer windows, but after two I have a good group and the club as a football club is much better equipped,” Mourinho told the Daily Mail.

“We are much better organized at every level — the medical department is better, the structure that organizes the logistics is much better. The training routines are much better organized. We are much stronger as a team. I feel the club is much better so we go for it this season.

“We’re going to try to win the title. We’re going to try to give a hard fight to the top teams in Europe in the Champions League and, as you know, I always loved the English cups.”

Mourinho also believes that he’s now substantially reshaped the team in his mold, having a couple summer transfer windows to make the roster more in his image and less in the visage of his predecessor Louis van Gaal. Having won the Community Shield, League Cup and Europa League last season, Jose Mourinho is ready to go for more this season, to attempt a significant improvement upon last year’s sixth place finish.

“I look forward to the season with optimism, with enthusiasm. I want to play,” he said. “I want to play West Ham on Sunday, a difficult match. Then I want to go to Swansea, a difficult match. Then I want the Champions League to start.”

Jose Mourinho also adds that he will stay out of trouble this season-

“I want, I want! … I’m on fire … But I will behave on the touchline!”
