Time for your daily David de Gea update. It’s a a never ending soap opera like Arturo Vidal was last summer. Will he stay at Manchester United, or move to Real Madrid? Nothing is official yet of course, but here’s the latest headlines on the situation:
-(Sunday Express) Manchester United have been offered Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas as a sweetener in a bid to take David de Gea to Real Madrid.
-(Sunday Mirror) Real Madrid have asked super-agent Jorge Mendes for a meeting this week – and David De Gea will be at the top of the agenda.
Then there is the injury situation. supposedly, the latest reports have said he’s at 50% right now and should be back to his full self in about a week. He should be 100% by June 1st.
-An just in case you missed it, here is video of the Eurovision performance by Edurne last night. Edurne is De Gea’s girlfriend, and he’s rumored to be a major factor in his decision to move to Madrid or not.
