Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili could be the first purchase of the Mauricio Pochettino era at White Hart Lane. Yes, the new boss is on the verge of making his first signing at Tottenham Hotspur since moving on up from Southampton last month. According to a report in the Daily Star, the Argentine is said to be close to a deal for Dzemaili.

But Tottenham are understood to still be leading the chase and will look to move for Dzemaili after finding out Napoli boss Rafa Benitez is looking to restructure his squad without the midfielder in the coming months.
Dzemaili came up in the Sunday tabloids as well, as he’s understood to be keen on a move to Spurs claimed the Sunday Mirror. There was even talk of a swap deal for Sandro. So as of now, the two names being discussed most often with Spurs transfer rumors are Sandro and Dzemaili.
