The Sochi Winter Olympics will take place in a Black Sea resort town not far from a mountain training ground for terrorists. Known terror groups reside in a place not all that far away from Sochi, Russia. Washington, D.C. is concerned over potential security threats at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

According to a recent CBS News report, US officials are concerned by the lack of information sharing and cooperation between nations intelligence agencies.

“There’s a long history of cooperation between nations who are hosting the Olympics and the United States government and the United States intelligence community, in particular, and we did not get that cooperation with the Russians,” said former Deputy CIA Director Mike Morell on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

Morell believes that the Russians don’t have control, and do not want that to be obvious, especially to the United States.

Police in Sochi have handed out fliers at area hotels warning of a woman they believe could be a terrorist and who may currently be in the city.

One flier, obtained by CNN, asks workers to be on the lookout for Ruzanna “Salima” Ibragimova, described as the widow of a member of a militant group from the Caucasus region.

The woman, according to the flier, may be involved in organizing “a terrorist act within the 2014 Olympic region.”
