Juventus has admitted that they would likely lose Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba if a giant club made a giant offer. Pogba departed Old Trafford on a free transfer after his relationship with United Manager Sir Alex Ferguson became strained.

Of course, now that Louis van Gaal is in charge, everything has changed. However, bringing Paul Pogba back would take a huge deal of money. They would also have to beat out the likes of Chelsea and now Manchester City.

The Daily Express reports that the English champions have earmarked Paul Pogba as Toure’s replacement, and are willing to spend big.

Paul Pogba has had a great career in Turin, Italy, but the 21-year-old midfielder is going to get a lot of attention from all the top clubs all across the country. If the Sky Blues are serious about keeping their post 2008-09 spending pratices going, landing the former United player Pogba (despite the obvious financial fair play concerns) would show that they are indeed going to remain a financial power broker in the transfer market.

And since Toure seems to be on the way out, they’ll need to line up a replacement.
