Jose Mourinho Admits Tottenham Hotspur are a ‘team with sadness’

Tottenham Hotspur suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League today, as they succumbed 1-0 at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion. That has left them now eleven points adrift from the top of the table, and they’re a team with sadness according to manager Jose Mourinho (Daily Mail).

It was a tough game for Spurs, who never looked like a scoring threat, despite having more possession during the game. They let their opponents have more shots on goal and that led to the Seagulls taking the lead, which they never relinquished.

For the first time since January 16, Chelsea have both won a Premier League fixture and scored a goal in one. (Although that makes natural sense, as you would need to score in order to win!) Arsenal Heading In Right Direction Says Manager Mikel Arteta

Arsenal continued their unbeaten streak in the Premier League today as their game against Manchester United ended in a goalless draw. Despite not getting the win, the club are still heading in the right direction, manager Mikel Arteta said to Sky Sports.

There were chances for both teams, but they could not capitalize on them and that resulted in the nil-nil stalemate. What was encouraging though, for the Gunners, was that they kept going until the final minute and it looked like they could conceivably score at any moment.

The team news is such that it will require seeing some changes in the Spurs lineup. We might see a formation shift, and there’s a strong possibility that they will have to move into a three-man back line. Hugo Lloris will start in goal and we think we’ll see three centre backs in front of him.
