It looks like Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea had a very thrilling night this week. He attended the Avenged Sevenfold show at Manchester Arena Monday night and his outing included some back stage passes. De Gea, who’s girlfriend is a major music act (Spanish pop sensation Edurne, here’s a link to more on her) got to meet one of his apparently favorite bands.

“Genius on and off the stage” met “one of the world’s greatest goal keepers” showing that truly game recognizes game. De Gea and his United teammates are off from any mid-week competition, but they’ll return to action against on Saturday the 21st. They will take on Stoke City in the Premier League fixture.
De Gea will no doubt be ready to try and get another victory streak started. The Red Devils had won six in a row in league play, nine in a row overall until the draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
