With Kendall Marshall part of North Carolina‘s exodus of underclassmen to leave for the NBA Draft, the Tar Heels will be searching for a new floor general next season. McDonald’s All-American Marcus Paige will likely be the guy to step into that role.

Now it is time for an insanely early Bracketology, projecting what the 2013 NCAA Tournament field might look like.
Follow paulmbanksThe Preseason Top 50 List for the John R. Wooden Award was released today. Chosen by a preseason poll of national media members, the list is comprised of 50 players who, based on last year’s individual performance and team records, are the early frontrunners for college basketball’s most prestigious honor.
Transfers, freshmen and medical redshirts are not eligible for the Preseason list.
The players on the Preseason list are considered strong candidates for the Midseason list and the official voting ballot, both of which are open to freshman and transfer students.
