Georgia’s Jarvis Jones, potential #1 pick, declares for NFL Draft

University of Georgia junior outside linebacker Jarvis Jones has decided to forego his senior season and enter the 2013 NFL Draft. When you’re projected to be the #2 overall, and perhaps even the first overall pick, the decision is quite easy. Jones could go first to Kansas City or second to Jacksonville. Some have called him the next Von Miller.

Georgia Bulldogs handle Nebraska Cornhuskers in Capital One: news and notes

In their respective conference championship games, the Georgia Bulldogs came up 5 yards short of competing for the national title versus the Crimson Tide. The Nebraska Cornhuskers had 70 points hung on them by a 5 loss Wisconsin Badgers team. So on this college football holiday, what would happen in the Capital One Bowl? They day belonged to UGA, so thus will the news and notes in this post.

#14 Georgia Bulldogs: College Football 77 in 77

Why am I so high on a team that had a losing season last fall and lost their best players on both sides of the ball? Well, the Georgia Bulldogs have a lot more going for them in 2011 than they did last year. A.J. Green and Justin Houston are indeed gone, but they have a blue chip recruiting class coming in, stud transfers becoming eligible, and another year in the system at key positions.

Also, the Bulldogs off-season conditioning program will bring more speed to the personnel better suited for their attacking style on defense.
