New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin applies lessons learned on the NFL football field to everyday life. The Super Bowl winning coach discussed his new book with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show last night. Tom Coughlin is one of many sports guests to appear on the Comedy Central fake news program. Stewart is a big Giants New York Mets fan.

Tom Coughlin certainly could be labeled as “old school.” There are obviously strengths and weaknesses that come with this moniker. He damaged his team’s chance of winning the game on the road in Arlington on Sunday night by being this way.

The Fighting Preview: Strong Leader For Irish

“Coaching is making players do what they don’t want to do so that they can become what they want to become.” Great words once spoken by current New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin. Based on that, it appears Notre Dame has the best man for the football sidelines in Brian Kelly. But does Kelly’s hard-nosed style of coaching mean Irish fans will see something different from the mediocrity of the past few seasons?
