Chicago Blackhawks: What to expect going forward

Thank God the Chicago Blackhawks and NHL are back. The lackluster Winter Olympics hockey tournament will give way to what really matters: the push towards the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Blackhawks are in very good position to make another run at the Cup, but there are a few things to take note of prior to the postseason.

The Hawks head to the Big Apple to take on the New York Rangers in an Original Six matchup Thursday evening. The game will be Chicago’s first game since breaking for the Olympics. The one thing to watch for in this game is how well the 10 Chicago Blackhawks who went to Sochi look back on North American soil. The Rangers will be without Olympian winger Mats Zuccarello because of a hand injury he sustained in Russia. [Read more…]
