#22 Wolverines 28, SDSU Aztecs 7: The Michigan Difference

There was a Saturday like this last season in Big Ten football. Where no one in the conference played anybody at all. I think it may have been the same week- the one preceding the start of conference play, so everyone could fatten up with a won and get their confidence up for league play.

Directional Michigan looked pretty bad in the morning games as the Central Michigan Chippewas lost 45-7 to the Michigan State Spartans and the Penn State Nittany Lions crushed the Eastern Michigan Eagles 34-6. Michigan Star Roy Roundtree Gets Signature Moment, Denard POW Honors

Michigan Wolverines Redshirt Junior Wide Receiver Roy Roundtree is among the best receivers in the Big Ten. The active UM career leader in yards and receiving, he also holds the Michigan record for receiving yards in a single game (246) set against the Illini in the wild 67-65 multiple overtime game last November.

And in Michigan’s exciting come-from-behind victory over Notre Dame, the first night home night game in the 134 year history of the program, Roundtree had a play that will forever be his college football “signature moment.”

Like Desmond Howard’s famous “Heisman pose.”

On the last play from scrimmage, Roundtree caught a go-ahead, game-winning 16-yard TD pass from junior quarterback Denard Robinson with two seconds remaining.
