The New York Jets coaching carousel has made many stops, with not much momentum in between. Owner Woody Johnson reached out for help from former general managers, Charley Casserly and Ron Wolf, which likely is the reason the new brain trust is taking their time while staying mum.

Jets fans may be impatient, but Johnson seems to finally understand that this is the logical way to fill the head- coaching void.

NY Jets just cannot lose to Raiders rookie QB Derek Carr

New York Jets v Tennessee Titans

If there’s one category Rex Ryan is dominant in, it’s his ability to make rookie quarterbacks look like they don’t belong on the field. matt_stafford

At the time of publication Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers had a quarterback rating south of the century mark, but he is still one of the top performers in the league. He is a man much like Steve Young, who learned behind a legend before taking the reins in his prime and becoming more effective than his predecessor could possibly be during the final portion of his career. The primary reason Rodgers is not among the top five statistically is that he has lost running back Ryan Grant for the season.
