Some Retro Ryan Grant Helps the Green Bay Packers Move to 13-0

With an easy 46-16 win over the Oakland Raiders, only three games stand between the Green Bay Packers and a perfect regular season. Aaron Rodgers was his brilliant self while amassing 4,000 yards and becoming only the fourth player in NFL history to throw two or more touchdowns in thirteen consecutive games.

In addition to having a lot of success through the air, the Packers actually excelled on the ground against a 28th ranked Raiders run defense.  Ryan Grant ran to the tune of 85 yards on ten carries and scored two touchdowns, an effort which conjures up memories of his breakout 2009 season.

College Hoops 101 (3/8/11)

ucla basketball

First off, let me say that I am rather disappointed with my lack of college basketball watching this season.  I did say that I was going with a “quality over quantity” approach this year and not watching a game for an eight-day stretch when I was covering the Packers in the Super Bowl did not help my numbers.  My goal this week is to watch all 15 Big East Tournament games (you can check out my preview/predictions for that tourney) and hit the 25-game mark this week.

If you are unfamiliar with College Hoops 101, it is a weekly feature here at The Sports Bank that runs every Monday and breaks down everything you need to know going on in the world of college basketball.  I will look back at the previous week and peak ahead to some of the key match-ups in the next seven days.  Click here to check out my updated bracketology.

Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun Sit Courtside At Bucks Game

Excited about the Packers recent success, Jennings even threw in a “championship belt” celebration of his own from the Bucks bench on Saturday night.

Aaron Rodgers Almost Perfect in a Rout of the Falcons

Can you say NFC Championship? That’s where the Green Bay Packers are heading after embarrassing the  #1-seeded Atlanta Falcons by the score of 48-21.

QB Aaron Rodgers took his play to an elite status when he completed 31 of his 36 passes for 366 yards and 3 touchdowns. Rodgers ten touchdowns through his first three playoff games are an NFL record.

A fellow Pro Bowl snub in Tramon Williams also had a career game with two interceptions and a touchdown.
