NFC North Marathon begins with the Detroit Lions for the Green Bay Packers

Five of the Green Bay Packers’ seven remaining games will come against NFC North opponents. That should make for a very interesting division battle as Green Bay (6-3) sits just one game back of the Chicago Bears (7-2).

Aaron Rodgers Injury Changes Complexion of the Game


Detroit Lions fans are breathing a sigh of relief for a change at the conclusion of a game. They have won a divisional game for the first time in over three years with late heroics by the defensive line. Ndamukong Suh and company controlled the line of scrimmage for the entire game. Before Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down late in the first half with a concussion, the defense for the Lions at least had to respect the passing game that Green Bay had. After the injury, defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham and the rest of Detroit’s staff could focus on stopping the run.
