This year’s Miss Sprint Cup is Jaclyn Roney of Ann Arbor, Michigan. (She also has an Illinois connection, as she has family in Batavia).
She’s also a Wolverines fan, but from a Michigan, Michigan State house divided, as it contains Spartans allegiances.

Pre-race festivites included a salute to military troops and families. Obama and Biden served as grand marshals for the event. But the crowd didn’t care, and voiced their disapproval anyway.

With two full seasons left on their current television contract, NASCAR and FOX Sports Media Group (FSMG) announced today an extensive new eight-year, multiplatform media rights agreement that ensures FSMG’s broadcast of NASCAR racing through 2022.
