The Dallas Cowboys can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to injuries, the latest player on the injury list being new-boy, Morris Claiborne.

The first-round draft pick suffered a knee sprain in training, an injury that has been quickly played down by the Cowboys management.

Dallas Cowboys Morris Claiborne admits he blew off the Wonderlic Test

The Dallas Cowboys really got aggressive when it comes to solving their cornerback needs in last night’s NFL draft. They traded up to #6 to land LSU DB Morris Claiborne who told reporters he pretty much blew off the Wonderlic test at the NFL scouting combine in February.

It was reported he scored a 4 on the mental aptitude test, and there was concern it would affect his draft stock.

“I mean, I looked on the test and wasn’t nothing on the test that came with football, so I pretty much blew the test off,” Claiborne said.

LSU is certainly becoming CBU these days. Louisiana State University is Corner Back U. Patrick Peterson left Baton Rouge early to become a two-phase NFL star with the Arizona Cardinals, and the Tigers didn’t miss a beat.

Morris Claiborne is looking like a top 5 NFL draft pick this year, and the Honey Badger Tyrann Mathieu will be a franchise player in a couple years.
