Minnesota Timberwolves’ Off-season Update

The NBA lockout will soon enter its third month. While the sides are again meeting with one another, it appears that an agreement isn’t in the near future with training camps scheduled to open in five weeks.

Because the of the lockout, there has been little updates on the Minnesota Timberwolves this off-season. That is unless you consider David Kahn’s dates to Minnesota Twins games with prospective replacements at the head coaching possession news.

NBA Lockout News, and Timberwolves Coaching Search Update

Since the NBA lockout began on July 1st, there has been very little updates on negotiations between the player’s union and the owners.

That is until Tuesday when the NBA filed a lawsuit against the Players Association.

The lawsuit is a tactic the league and the owners will use in an attempt to protect themselves from the union decertifying to gain leverage against the league.

Decertification by the union was seen by the NFL players back in the early stages of the NFL lockout just months ago. [Read more…]

Rick Adelman to Interview With Minnesota Timberwolves

Rick Adelman can add his name to the list of potential suitors for the Minnesota Timberwolves head coaching vacancy.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune’s Jerry Zgoda, Adelman will interview for the vacant position Saturday with David Kahn and owner Glen Taylor.
