Bulls.com: Pau Gasol interested in coming to Chicago

The Chicago Bulls will have to take stock now of what they can and cannot do, as they will be sans Derrick Rose for most, if not all of the season. This changes their complexion and outlook completely. Bulls.com reporter Sam Smith proposes an idea that they might even play for the lottery, a la the San Antonio Spurs when David Robinson was hurt.

We all know that worked out amazingly, as the Spurs subsequently got Tim Duncan. But there’s another route to take as well- acquiring Pau Gasol from the Los Angeles Lakers, possibly in a deal involving Luol Deng.

According to Smith as you’ll read below, Gasol wants out of L.A. and wants into Chicago. Oh and he and Kobe Bryant hate each other:

Video: Suns Steve Nash gets lap dance from Nicki Minaj

Steve Nash is playing at an All-Star level but could be dealt since Nash is in the final year of his contract and the Phoenix Suns are really struggling this season. As the NBA trade deadline approaches March 15th. the trade winds surrounding him swirl.

In the meantime, R&B singer Nicki Minaj gave Nash a little thrill. Minaj gave Steve Nash a lapdance during her set at Lil’ Wayne’s “I’m Still Music” tour last night at U.S. Airways Center

Five Players Most Likely to be Traded Once NBA Lockout Ends

The NBA Lockout has frozen everything exciting about the off-season; no trades, no free agency, no “The Decisions.”  And depending on what is negotiated by the owners and players in a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, the rules of free agency and trades could forever be altered; especially if a discussed hard salary cap is in fact instated.

Lakers Don’t Need to Do Anything Drastic This Off-Season

Like we are currently seeing in the NFL, the 2011 NBA off-season is up in the air with a lockout looming.  Free agency could be delayed and completely restructured depending on the new agreement reached by the owners and players.  Still, The Sports Bank continues to break down all thirty NBA teams to see what areas they need to address in the off-season.

The Los Angeles Lakers were embarrassed in their second round exit of the NBA Playoffs. Panic has somewhat ensued including Pau Gasol‘s name suddenly becoming a hot item on the trade rumors.  However, the Lakers do not need to do anything drastic this off-season.
