Hallmark of NBA Longevity: Bulls’ Kurt Thomas Plays 1000 Games

Last night, in the 106-94 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, NBA journeyman Kurt Thomas currently with the Chicago Bulls and also very recently with the Milwaukee Bucks played in his 1,000th league game.

He is just the 96th player in league history to accomplish the feat. He is only the 12th currently active player to reach this milestone; the players in this club are rather elite (Jason Kidd, Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Garnett, Juwan Howard, Derek Fisher, Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen, Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, Joe Smith and Ben Wallace).
