It’s the second week of bye weeks, but this one likely hurts fantasy owners more than last week. The likes of Chris Johnson, Ryan Mathews and Philip Rivers will all be on your fantasy bench this week, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of quality options. There are a few runners who will impress this week and are still available on waiver wires, and a couple passers who you should keep your eye on. Rookies to Consider for Your 2011 NFL Fantasy Draft


Each and every year, a rookie comes out of no where to become a fantasy hero. Last season, it was the Detroit Lions RB Jahvid Best and the Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin the year before that.

Fantasy Football: 2011 NFC South Running Back Situations

The NFC South is pretty loaded in the running back department. Atlanta’s Michael Turner leads the way. He ran for 1371 yards and 12 touchdowns last year. He gets a downgrade in PPR leagues as he only caught 12 passes for 85 yards last year, but he’s a solid RB1. Turner has averaged 91.7 rushing yards and 0.91 rushing touchdowns per game over the past three years.
