NASCAR national media blitz in Chase across America


Ten different drivers embarked on a 10-city media blitz Tuesday as Day 2 of ‘Chase Across America’ kicked into high gear.

NASCAR’s second-annual cross-country media tour – in which the 12 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers visit the 10 Chase track markets, New York City and Bristol, Conn. – featured events ranging from pep rallies to baseball games, and boat tours to firefighting lessons.

NASCAR star Greg Biffle to use coolant film at Daytona 500


Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing, will use 3MT Crystalline 90 Window Film on his car during this year’s Daytona 500 on Feb. 26. Biffle tested the new film and the hope is that it will keep his car cooler during long races like Daytona where temperatures can soar inside his car.

Biffle was named Rookie of the Year in the Craftsman Truck series (1998) and the Busch series (2001). He was also the truck series champion in 2000 and Busch champion in 2002.
