Fans of the Minnesota Golden Gopher football team knew two things entering the season.
1) The Jerry Kill era would get off to a rocky start as he cleaned up the mess that Tim Brewster left in Dinkytown.
2) The team would be centered around dual-threat quarterback Marqueis Grey.
