A Derrick Rose comeback? Two media sources in Chicago are speculating Rose will play for the first time this season on March 18th. NBA fans will likely have to wait just a couple more days for a Derrick Rose return. Chicago Bulls fans, it seems the 2011 league MVP, Derrick Rose, will be playing on Monday night versus the Denver Nuggets. You can see Derrick Rose on the court, not just on pizza boxes. The Bulls moved the telecast of their game with Denver from Comcast SportsNet+ Chicago to Comcast SportsNet Chicago.

The Bulls are switching places with the Blackhawks, and when you consider that the Blackhawks have been breaking television ratings records left and right, you know something big has to be happening to bump them down. Chicago Bulls season hinders on Derrick Rose’s return

The Sports Bank will be counting down to the opening tip of the 2012-13 NBA season with team by team previews starting with the worst and working our way to the title contenders.  There is no lockout this time around so let’s get going.

His Adidas commercial portrays the scene pretty darn accurately as all of Chicago went silent when Derrick Rose clutched his knee in the first game of the Bulls’ opening round playoff series against the 76ers with the worst coming true; a torn ACL.  With Rose’s return questionable for this season, the Bulls must simply survive in hopes that their superstar can get back on the floor before the postseason begins.

Bulls Derrick Rose discusses his rehabilitation

“I’m at peace with my health and no one should be worried”

“just trying to stay positive, work extremely hard to be better than before. I’m working on my patience knowing that I have to prove I’m ready to come back. I’m about two weeks away from being able to cut”

Bulls Derrick Rose could seriously miss 2012-13 NBA season

Just minutes ago, the Chicago Bulls concluded a press conference discussing the surgery and recovery time table of their franchise player Derrick Rose. The reigning NBA MVP tore his ACL, and today was an opportunity for a post-surgical update. Answering questions from the media were Bulls GM Gar Forman, trainer Fred Tedeschi and the orthopedic surgeon who performed Rose’s operation: Dr. Brian Cole.
