Aaron Rodgers Spreads It Around While Packers Improve to 5-0






Green Bay’s 25 unanswered points helped the Packers move to 5-0 after beating the Atlanta Falcons, 25-14, at the Georgia Dome on Sunday Night. Superstar Aaron Rodgers completed passes to twelve different receivers while fighting for his life behind a makeshift offensive line.

The loss was a spoiler for Matt Ryan who came into Sunday’s affair with a 21-2 record at home. Now, two of Ryan’s three career losses in Atlanta (the other being the 2010 NFC Championship game) can be credited to the Packers.

Packers Nip the Colts 24-21; Preseason Notes and Links

The Green Bay Packers played their starters for an entire half en route to a 24-21 win over the Indianapolis Colts to improve to 2-1 in the preseason. Even though Aaron Rodgers and company had a crisp half, it was third-stringer Graham Harrell who led the Pack to a last minute victory on Friday.

Analysis of the Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl Selections

For the first time since 2007, the Packers have five Pro-Bowlers. Taking the trip to Hawaii in late January are S Nick Collins, LB Clay Matthews, CB Charles Woodson, WR Greg Jennings and LT Chad Clifton.

In addition to the five spots on the starting roster, QB Aaron Rodgers and CB Tramon Williams are first alternates. I’m not really sure what the voters were thinking because Rodgers and Williams should have been sure selections along with Matthews and Jennings.

Not that many people really care about the Pro Bowl, but here is my reaction to each Packers player selected or not selected.
