Bucks-Timberwolves quickly becomes a battle for the basement

The Milwaukee Bucks‘ 94-88 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday night played out like a bizarro version of the Mia Hamm/Michael Jordan Gatorade commercials. Anything Milwaukee did, Minnesota did worse, and neither team could do anything consistently better than the other. Case and point: The game’s final two minutes.

Bucks-Timberwolves analysis: Wins are a point of view

It’s never a good thing when Andrew Bogut plays 23 minutes and attempts five shots in a game against a less than impressive front line. But Milwaukee Bucks coach Scott Skiles had a few interesting lineup combinations that ultimately carried the Bucks to their 94-88 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Different month, same results in Milwaukee Bucks loss to Utah Jazz

The Milwaukee Bucks shot a better percentage and connected on just as many three pointers at the Utah Jazz, but couldn’t overcome a late surge from Deron Williams and an offensive rebounding onslaught that gave the Jazz 14 extra shot attempts.

The rare occurrence of a Bucks game-high shooting percentage (45.1%) couldn’t stop the Jazz (42.2%) from a late-game 13-2 run and walking away with a 95-86 victory.
