Biggest Surprises in 2011 MLB Season Thus Far

The New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies leading the American and National League East divisions at the end of May is no surprise.
The Cleveland Indians and Arizona Diambondbacks leading their divisions is a surprise though. The Indians are 5 games up on the Detroit Tigers and the Dbacks have a slim half game margin over the San Francisco Giants.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is the Minnesota Twins with a MLB-worst 17-36 record. They have allowed 91 more runs then they’ve scored this season. Many predicted them to win the AL Central. Ouch!
