The Milwaukee Bucks showcased their ability to be completely whelming in their ESPN-televised 89-83 loss to the Boston Celtics Sunday night.

By now, everyone who watched the Bucks for the first time knows their story this season, often capped by a failure to land a finishing move when their opponent is swaying like a Mortal Kombat enemy. Milwaukee played as hard as they have all season, but effort only takes you so far when the home stretch of a game is marred by bad decisions.

Milwaukee Bucks Media Day showcases new players, high expectations

Note: This is the first in a series of posts previewing the Milwaukee Bucks 2010-11 season, their newest players, emerging leaders, and overall expectations.

The Milwaukee Bucks‘ Media Day on Monday saw at least double the swarm of reporters from last year, and that’s as good of an indication as any of the heightened expectations and notoriety the Bucks face as they begin training camp for the 2010-11 season.

After all the schedule examinations, statistical predictions, and offseason trade, draft and free agency analysis, the key has officially been turned to start warming the engine on the Milwaukee Bucks 2010-11 season.

Milwaukee Bucks release their 2010 preseason schedule

Fear the Deer

The Wednesday press conference introducing the newest member of the Milwaukee Bucks, backup veteran point guard Keyon Dooling, is just one sign of the annual summer lull in the NBA news cycle.

The other comes in the form of the just released Milwaukee Bucks pre-season schedule, which will feature two games at the Bradley Center and one at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
