Blame it on Rio.

It’s more than an epigram, it’s one of the best ’80s movies you can ever watch. The Chicago Bulls will have their own chance for chicanery and misadventures in the fun party capital of South America this fall when they play the Washington Wizards in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on October 20th.

The Chicago Bulls tip off the preseason Oct. 5th versus the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse at 6:00 p.m. (CDT). The Chicago Bulls will then host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Scottrade Center in “Nellyville” on Oct. 7.

They then travel to Rio be the sea-o en Brazil to take on the Wiz at HSBC Arena.

The Chicago Bulls and Wizards will be participating in NBA Global Games Rio 2013, which will be the NBA’s first-ever game in Brazil. Under the watchful eyes of Jesus Christ on Corcovado, or as Homer J. Simpson said “it’s like he’s on the dashboard of the entire country.”

The Chicago Bulls will also host the Detroit Pistons (Wednesday, Oct. 16), the Pacers (Friday, Oct. 18), the Bucks (Monday, Oct. 21) and the Nuggets.

Tickets for every Chicago Bulls home game will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 at Bulls.com, NBAtickets.com, the United Center box office, Ticketmaster locations or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX.
