The 2016 NBA Draft is just days away! Huzzah! Here’s the link to our latest NBA mock draft.
ESPN will televise the 2016 NBA Draft on Thursday, June 23, at 7 p.m. ET. In advance of what is annually always one of our favorite days on the sports calendar, we crowdsourced the Chicago Bulls selections from our most favorite and most trusted NBA mock drafts on the internet. In other words, we did some mocksourcing.
We also did some feature stories on the elite NBA Draft lottery prospects, and where they might fit in, so to read those, just click the player’s name where highlighted.
Chicago Bulls NBA Draft Mocksourcing
The Sports Bank: Marquese Chriss, SF, Washington
Walter Football: Deyonta Davis, PF, Michigan State
Chicago Now: Deyonta Davis, PF, Michigan State
Draft Express: Timothe Luwawu, SG/SF, Mega Leks
NBA Draft Room: DeJounte Murray, PG, Washington
CBS: Parrish: Domantas Sabonis, PF, Gonzaga
As a Chicago lifer who went to business school at Michigan State, you know I’m loving these Deyonta Davis projections, at least somewhat. The Bulls are kind of a mess right now and they probably need someone who can step in really contribute right away though, and Davis is definitely not that.
I like Sabonis pick much better, and I think the Chicago Bulls should definitely draft best big available, which would likely be Domas around that range. You also saw a couple names that the average fan has not heard before on that list. It’s too be expected as this is a very, very weak draft. Beyond the top 7-8-9 guys or so, the 2016 NBA Draft class offers very little.
Of course, we knew this back at the 2014 McDonald’s All-American game, also in Chicago. Those rosters were the weakest group of prospects that we’ve seen since the game moved to the second city.
