Arsenal get Barca; Chelsea PSG again in Champions League draw

Jose Mourinho has won the European Cup twice, and the road to a third goes through PSG. The UCL ties were just announced and Chelsea will play Paris Saint-Germain for a third straight season in the UEFA Champions League. So let’s hope we don’t have Blues supporters doing horribly racist things and singing horribly racist songs at a Paris metro stop again like we did last season.

Chelsea vs PSG is a very attractive match-up of two giant, big money clubs from two cosmopolitan European capitals, but Arsenal vs Barcelona is probably a better tie. Especially so, given the struggles the Blues have had this season.

Of all the knockout round pairings, Juventus vs Bayern Munich might be the most appealing on paper. You’ll get to see the German powerhouse take on last year’s UCL runner-up.

Here’s the full list of ties to be played between Feb. 16, 17; 23, 24; and March 8, 9; 15, 16:

Gent v Wolfsburg
Roma v Real Madrid
PSG v Chelsea
Arsenal v Barcelona
Juventus v Bayern Munich
PSV Eindhoven v Atletico Madrid
Benfica v Zenit
Dynamo Kiev v Manchester City
