Justise Winslow is a very athletic, verstaile small forward, who will see a lot of minutes as Rodney Hood and Jabari Parker depart Durham. Well, it looks like the latter is returning.
BREAKING: Jabari Parker very likely returning for his sophomore season
Nevertheless, Justise Winslow is part of Duke’s #1 overall recruiting class who will dominate the McDonald’s All-American game tonight, and will lead Duke to be a top five team in college basketball.
Winslow, ranked top 15 by most recruiting classes, chose the Blue Devils over Florida, UCLA, Arizona, Texas A&M and Stanford. While Jahlil Okafor and Tyus Jones were the combo pack that got all the media publicity, Justise Winslow had also been mentioned as going to the same school. He wasn’t locked in by any means, but having the #1 and #3 ranked recruits helped land the #11 (that would be Winslow)
So enjoy my exclusive with Justise Winslow from McDonald’s All-American Media Day. We talk many topics including Marquette hiring Wojo away from Duke.
