A blue chip recruit, who’s Caucasian, is coming to Durham. BREAKING NEWS!
I know you’ve heard this story before. Duke Blue Devils fans (and enemies)
The next star Caucasian college basketball player at Duke, who will then automatically receive a lot of love from ESPN (Duke is the World Wide Leader’s favorite program of course), and then subsequently a backlash is Grayson Allen.
For precedent see: Christian Laettner, JJ Redick, Jon Scheyer, Chris Collins, all the Plumlees, Danny Ferry, Kyle Singler, Steve Wojciechowski etc. etc.
Grayson Allen continued to impress people even further at the McDonald’s All-American game week, winning the dunk competition last night. Allen committed to Duke along with Jahlil Okafor of Whitney Young Magnet School in Chicago, the #1 recruit in the nation. Together they bring the top rated freshmen class to Coach K’s program. The pair, along with Tyus Jones and Justise Winslow will compete in the McDonald’s All-American game tomorrow night.
I had an exclusive with Grayson Allen where I asked him about a whole host of topics, including that wicked Isaiah Rider style between the legs dunk he pulled off. I even asked him why people hate Duke so much.
Here’s the audio of my exclusive with Grayson Allen
