Although interest in the 2017 McDonald's All-American Game was far below that of previous events (the 40% off ticket sales promotions available yesterday truly says it all), there was still plenty of intrigue on the recruiting front. During #McDAAG the real basketball is played behind closed doors in front of NBA scouts, what the media and general public see are just, as Ian … [Read more...] about Michigan St. Target Brandon McCoy Considering Purdue? Purdue basketball Coach Matt Painter just does not get the credit that he truly deserves. Caleb Swanigan One of the Most Taciturn National Players of the Year Ever

By

He may have the same nickname as Biggie Smalls, but Caleb Swanigan certainly does not have the ostentation of the late great hip-hip artist. Notorious B.I.G. "went from from ashy to flashy" as he liked to say. Biggie Swanigan puts the reserve in reserved. During the Purdue Boilermakers media availability on the day in between the first and second round games, Caleb Swanigan … [Read more...] about Caleb Swanigan One of the Most Taciturn National Players of the Year Ever

Purdue Basketball Wins Nail-Biter, Edge of your Seat Thriller, a Nerve-Wracking Affair

By

"Unbelievable game," said Purdue basketball coach Matt Painter as he opened his postgame press conference. What an understatement, for an instant classic such as this. It's called "March Madness," for a reason. It's not "March meditation," or "March chillaxing," and Purdue's 80-76 come from-behind NCAA Tournament round of 32 victory over Iowa State was anything but … [Read more...] about Purdue Basketball Wins Nail-Biter, Edge of your Seat Thriller, a Nerve-Wracking Affair
