Chelsea, Liverpool Target Alisson Closing in on Real Madrid Transfer

AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker, a targeted of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool this summer, wanted resolution on his club future before the World Cup began in earnest this weekend, and it didn’t happen. However, according to a major outlet in Rome, that closure will soon be here.

It looks the Brazil #1 will get this all wrapped up soon, with Real Madrid the destination, as Corriere dello Sport claim it is only a matter of days until the deal is done. Thus, it appears the two Premier League giants, if this report turns out to be right, will be left disappointed. So much for Roberto Firmino’s recruiting efforts in Brazil camp.

Eden Hazard Limps Off Early in Belgium Win Over Costa Rica

Belgium and Chelsea fans got a bit of a scare tonight when star forward Eden Hazard limped off the pitch in the 70′ minute of his side’s 4-1 rout of Costa Rica. The lopsided friendly was the final World Cup warm up for Belgium, a team that is considered among the second tier of favorites in regards to winning the global tournament.

Hazard, who got hurt in an awkward collision tonight, figured in helping to set up all of Belgium’s goals; which were scored by Dries Mertens, Michy Batshuayi and two from Romelu Lukaku. The 27-year-old forward was in fine form this evening, as Belgium national team coach Roberto Martinez pointed out after the game.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid Target Alisson Seeks Resolution on Club Future

Brazil and AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who is reportedly being targeted by Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool, seeks resolution on his club future before the World Cup begins this week. Roma have publicly maintained that he is not for sale, and according to Sky Sports, the Champions League semi-finalists have placed a £80 million price tag on him.

That is supposedly too rich for the blood of the club that Roma lost to in the UCL semis, who are currently in the market for a Loris Karius replacement.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard is demanding clarity on the murky managerial situation that currently looms over his club. Current manager Antonio Conte still remains in charge, despite widespread beliefs that he would be out of a job once the season ended.

Olivier Giroud and Matt Miazga Leave Game After Bloody Collision

There was a very scary moment tonight in the international friendly between the United States and France that resulted in a 1-1 draw. USA and Chelsea man (currently on loan with Vitesse) Matt Miazga had a nasty head to head challenge with France and Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud on an early second-half corner.

The collision left both men bleeding very heavily and forced them off the pitch. It was a scary scene, and you can watch video of the incident below:
