Manchester City star Yaya Toure could be on the move again. Or He might not. The gossip pages have been going crazy with rumors about him all season long. In September he was rumored to be headed to Real Madrid. He’s also been linked to Juventus, Paris St. Germain, Arsenal…a whole host of clubs.

Headline from the Daily Express today:

“Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is willing to take a significant pay cut in order to join Inter Milan.”

A similar take in the Daily Star:

“Yaya Toure is keen on a move to Inter Milan and is willing to go on the cheap to push through a deal.”

That’s one side of the story. On the other side, you have this video from @ The Buzzer:

Yes, Manchester City went ALL OUT for Yaya Toure on his birthday, giving him his big money Champions League bonus as an early gift, and posting birthday greetings on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

As we all heard a year ago from numerous outlets, Yaya Toure might leave Man City because they didn’t give me a big enough birthday party/cake/card??? last year. This sentiment was expressed by his agent; not him.  However, we all knew that this isn’t (or wasn’t) really about birthdays, this is about money.

He doesn’t really care that much about a birthday, he cares about getting paid. However, for what it’s worth, Toure and the Citizens made peace; as his 31st birthday seemed to be happier than his 30th.
