Randi Zuckerberg, sister of Mark Zuckerberg and former marketing director of Facebook, posted a photo to her Facebook. It was supposed to be visible only to her friends on FB. She was less than thrilled when someone reposted it to Twitter. That someone is Vox Media’s Callie Schweitzer who tweeted the photo to her more than 40,000 followers. And now the pic (which you can see after the jump) has gone viral, and Randi Zuckerberg is now a trending term on the internet.
So what is it a drunk pic? A less than flattering snapshot? Something of Randi in a compromising position?
No, it’s much more boring than that. It’s the Zuckerberg family getting together and their reaction to the site’s new “Poke” app.
photo credit Buzzfeed- And follow that link to watch the interesting back and forth between Schweitzer and Zuckerberg. It’s amusing. Especially when you think of the irony involved. A former higher-up at Facebook is complaining about privacy violations, when she helped lead a technology that can destroy privacy. But hey, you can’t BUY publicity like this for the new app.
