Jenn Brown: Erin Andrews’ very likely ESPN Successor

jenn_brown

I’ve been saying this for about a year or so. And it looks like it will soon become true: Jenn Brown is the next Erin Andrews. It will be made official once Brown takes over EA spots on College Gameday. That’s the word we’re hearing now. She’ll take the spot on the college football pregame show and the telecasts opposite Kirk Herbstreit and Brent Musburger. The ESPN sideline princess baton will be passed from one 34 year old former Florida Gator to a 31 year old former Florida Gator. Jennifer “Jenn” Lynne Brown, is likely heading over to the scorers table and signing in.

Especially now that Erin Andrews has left ESPN and his likely headed to Fox Sports

Erin Andrews Acolytes have Started Worshipping Jenn Brown

Apparently, there’s a new heiress to the  supposed “Sideline Princess” throne. Watch tonight with the Thursday night college football game of the week.

ESPN’s Jenn Brown is a former bikini model (which obviously gave her more journalistic credentials than even Medill graduates) and gymnast (again making her clearly more qualified in news reporting than the thousands of experienced j-school grads dying for her job). She also attended the same school (University of Florida) as the reigning Media Princess Erin Andrews.

Sports Blog/Yardbarker Survey: Your feedback requested

jenn brown

To paraphrase the legendary philosopher Aristotle, “the unexamined sports blog/ad network is not worth visiting.” So here’s your chance to tell the Yardbarker Network, proud affiliate of The Sports Bank, the why and how you receive your sports news. Both online and off-line. It’s a chance to tell them the reasons you read sports blogs (other than the obvious- finding and ogling pictures of Erin Andrews and Jenn Brown)

Happy 3rd Birthday The Sports Bank!!!

By Paul M. Banks

This weekend, it became 3 total years since The Sports Bank went live online. And today TSB is stronger than ever. January’s daily traffic average is well ahead of December’s pace; which itself was about 3x the previous month’s high. In fact, we’ve seen steady consistent growth in readership each of the past five months. We’re just half a month into 2010, but our annual daily page views for this year is 4x that of 2009. Which itself was double that of 2008.

Mostly, it’s been our twin mock drafts: the NFL Mock Draft and NBA mock Draft, produced by TSB President Paul M. Banks and Vice President David Kay respectively that have spurred this growth. And we couldn’t have done it without all the mock draft databases out there. You guys truly are the wind beneath our wings. But let’s also give an assist where it’s due: to Erin Pageviews. I mean Erin Andrews, and Jenn Sterger.

Well, to be more accurate- Jenn’s big fake chest, and Erin’s naturally bangin’ body. This just helps “bringing ’em in” and “pack the house” over here. But whatever the reason, business is booming, times are good and for that we thank you! You the reader, you’re the one who makes this all possible, we are eternally grateful and we have a special treat for you on this occasion.

Jenn Brown Should be Bulls New Sideline Reporter

jenn-brown-picture

By Paul M. Banks

After witnessing the most exciting playoff series in NBA history last year, you know the one between the Bulls and Celtics, in which nearly every game had at least one overtime session, it was very reasonable to expect this year’s Bulls team would be extremely fun and exciting to watch. However, it hasn’t worked out that way: an 8-15 record, a Head Coach who’s little more than a dead man walking and a style of play with an entertainment level equal to…well, they were picked dead last in SB Nation’s NBA Watchability index, and I can’t think of a legitimate argument against that. There is a way to fix all this though; an it’s more than firing Vinny Del Negro.
