Did you know that we even had a YouTube Channel? We do and it consists of 69 videos (“69 dude” to quote “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure”), 51 of which have each been viewed 700+ times.  And it’s about to hit the 100,000 views mark this week. As a site, we just passed the 2.1 million overall page views mark a couple days ago, so the video growth will no doubt soon catch up.

In the spirit of the occasion, I posted the 5 most popular videos here (and the Erin Andrews exclusive which has enabled revenue sharing, and is basically the one you clicked on to see anyway. They don’t call her “Erin Pageviews” for nothing.

Questions About Erin Andrews Creates Liveliest LSU Press Conference Ever (Video)

erin-andrews

So what happens when you mix in Erin Andrews, the Mad Hatter of LSU Les Miles, and an 86 year old college football reporter who asks questions that make him seem like the perfect Cialis pitchman?

Ted Castillo, senior citizen and LSU afficianado,  worked for The Advocate from 1948-91, and put in a few years after that as a freelance writer. In the waning minutes of Miles’ postgame presser, Ted Castillo asked LSU football head coach Les Miles about being interviewed by ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

Erin Andrews, ESPN College Gameday, Coming to Chicago’s Wrigleyville Classic

erin-andrews-northwestern

I heard a rumor last night. Then this morning, I saw this published on the blog of our good friend and Chicago Now brother Spread Far the Fame (also the creator of that lovely graphic above)

ESPN’s College Gameday will be coming to our city for the Northwestern vs. Ill-ANNOY game at Wrigley this Saturday. It marks the first time since November of 1995 the preeminent college pregame show will originate from a Northwestern home game. This is big.  This is huge.  This is our chance to show the world that Northwestern is Chicago’s Big Ten team.

I’ll let your slam at my alma mater slide for now, because I agree this is ginormous news! (And I’ll retort your dig later)

Big news for the Big Ten, big news for the Illini, big news for college football (sort of), big news for the Cubs (I guess). Erin Pageviews, the Queen of All Sports Media is going to be in my neighborhood! Yes, I must repeat that. Erin Andrews in going to be in “Wildcat Alley” to cover the Wrigleyville classic.

It looks like your graphic has come true. Well, kind of.

Fairly close anyway.

The Extremely Blunt Fighting Illini Football Preview

erin andrews and ron zook

I’m just not a soccer guy. The World Cup is fine, but it’s not my thing. I just can’t wait for college football to get here. Therefore, when College Football Zealots asked me to do their preview of the Illinois Fighting Illini 2010 season for them. I jumped at the chance.

Erin Andrews hooking up with Aaron Rodgers???

erin_andrews

Remember when we learned about homophones in grade school? Words pronounced the same, but different in meaning. And homophones that are spelled differently (like Erin and Aaron) are also called heterographs. So you see where I’m going with this!

I also brought up middle school because I feel like I’m back in it because I’m devoting a whole post to a romantic rumor. But this is no ordinary rumor, this one involves Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, and Queen of all Sideline Princesses Erin Andrews, the second most blogged about (Evan Turner is #1) individual in TSB history.

By Paul M. Banks

If you were watching last night’s NFL Draft on ESPN, you undoubtedly saw the updates from premier sideline princesses Erin Andrews (at the home of ND quarterback Jimmy Clausen) and Jenn Brown (reporting from the house of Texas signal-caller Colt McCoy). Neither QB was drafted last night, so it means we’ll likely be treated to more eye candy tonight, as the reigning Queen and crown princess of sports media will undoubtedly see a lot more airtime.
