Tottenham Hotspur versus Inter Milan is certainly one of the more exciting and interesting match-ups created by the UEFA Champions League group stage draw. At least in terms of brand names, on paper, this should be one to keep an eye on tomorrow night when the new UCL competition commences in earnest.
Let’s take a look at who is injured and who is in doubt for this epic clash at the San Siro, starting with Inter.
Mauro Icardi was rested this past weekend following a recent muscle injury, but the captain should be back in action for this one. Sime Vrsaljko is likely to miss out with the knee injury he sustained on international duty.
For Tottenham, there are concerns over attacking midfielder Dele Alli, who missed the loss to Liverpool at Wembley Stadium on Saturday due to a hamstring injury. He was noticeably absent in this video montage below, which the club’s Twitter account posted in advance of the team’s flight to Milan:

Moussa Sissoko and Juan Foyth are also both sidelined with similar issues, but nearing returns. A late fitness test will determine who plays and who doesn’t, but at this point, all three are very likely to miss out. Team Captain and No. 1 Hugo Lloris is a long term absentee with a thigh injury.
