Tottenham Hotspur host Burnley FC this weekend in a match that probably comes at a perfect time for the north London side. Spurs are entering this match coming off an emotional high, having rallied against all odds to qualify for the UEFA Champions League with a draw at Barcelona.
They are also seeing more of their players get healthier, and that’s perfect timing, given the fixture congestion of the festive period. The convalescing guys can also kind of ease into it here as they’re playing a side that just won for the first time in nine tries, and since September 30, last weekend.
The Clarets sit just 17th in the table, and are naturally, huge underdogs.
Let’s take a look at who Mauricio Pochettino could start in his first team for this one.
