Happy January transfer window deadline day! It’s been an action packed month with a lot of transfer business, and it all finished off with a flurry of last minute deals on Wednesday. Brazilian forward Lucas Moura moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Tottenham Hotspur, for a reported £25 million transfer fee.
He joins the north London side on a five and a half year deal. PSG, with Financial Fair Play concerns in mind, were very motivated to sell, giving Tottenham a fantastic deal for the right winger.
Mauricio Pochettino and the north London side, also got a cut rate from Paris when they acquired Serge Aurier in the summer.

“It’s a new chapter of my life, a new challenge. I’m so happy. It’s a big club and I need to enjoy it, work hard and show my quality,” Lucas Moura said of the transfer.
“I will give my best for this club because I think we have a lot of quality and we can win big things. Why not the Champions League?”
Lucas Moura completed his Tottenham medical on Wednesday morning, right before he agreed to personal terms. It was a really good day for his new club, who beat Manchester United 2-0 tonight at Wembley Stadium.
