We now have an official time table for the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as confirmed by his manager Jose Mourinho. In the process, we also received confirmation that Manchester United will once again not be buying in the January transfer window.
“He will be back in January,” Mourinho told BT Sport after his club beat Leicester City 2-0 for their third win in three games to open up the Premier League season.
“When the market is open and people are spending money, we don’t,” the Portugese continued.
“But we get a player who was fundamental for us last season. He comes to give us extra quality in the second half of the season.”

Additionally, the re-integration of Ibrahimovic into the squad will be a quasi January window purchase, Mourinho is implying.
