As reported earlier, Manchester United offered former Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdes the opportunity to complete his rehabilitation at Old Trafford. Louis van Gaal has given the free agent, who won six La Liga titles, an opportunity to train with the club. Victor Valdes had been linked with a move to Liverpool previously, but then it was reported that the Reds lost interest.
Then came the next rumor.
Victor Valdes will sign a contract at United as long he passes the medical, claimed Mundo Deportivo. Now Cadena Cope is is saying that Valdes has already rejected the short term offer. It was a deal in which he would have played for the Red Devils until the end of the season.
