Manchester United target Toni Kroos admitted he liked Old Trafford last night and says he won’t rule out a move from Bayern Munich to United. Earlier this week, Toni Kroos praised United.
This week, Bayern insisted that Kroos will definitely not leave the club this summer but all the indications from Toni Kroos himself is that he is happy to let speculation over his future continue as long as possible.
Here’s an exchange with a reporter after the 1-1 draw in the Champions League Quarterfinal.
Reporter: How did you like Old Trafford?
Toni Kroos: Liked it a lot. Great atmosphere
Reporter: The chances u will play a LOT more here
Toni Kroos: Future I decide later
Kroos could be interested in leaving the Bundesliga for the Premier League. Or he could just be using the Red Devils extreme interest as leverage to get a better deal to stay at Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has been linked with a move to Manchester United for quite awhile. There’s been speculation about him coming to Old Trafford all season long, and we’ve been one of the many, many websites that have covered all the transfer rumors. Remember when Toni Kroos made an innocent little Facebook status update, that was cut off and then misinterpreted by a couple United Supporters, who then flipped out online at him?
It was a harmless and vanilla tweet, but taken out of context, it really caused quite a hostile stir.
